I met our northward neighbor, who is about 90. I abandoned my shovel and just yanked like fuck on the mini trees that want to forest our whole yard with their new sprouts, and it was much more fun than previous shovel-based attempts, though less effective. I’m glad I got the rest of the yard done better, and done earlier. Now, it would hurt the violets!
