Clover

I found clover in the dictionary today, courtesy of a previous owner, right exactly next to the entry you see there! Further evidence that anyone with a 1934 Webster’s International is very complicated.

I found the clover while looking for “autological,” which only appears in the list demonstrating auto’s wide applicability (so many! it’s like a traffic jam), Anyway, it means words that mean what they are (short is short, English is English, polysyllabic is polysyllabic), and to the list, I want to add: ridonkulous. Thanks!
